The Run Sheet (also known as the Audio Patching & Booth Allocation Rider) is the single operational document bridging the conference interpreting agency, the chief interpreter, and the on-site sound engineering crew.
What every AV run sheet must specify
- Console Channel (CH): The exact transmitter frequency / channel number assigned to each language pair (e.g. CH 1 Floor, CH 2 Spanish, CH 3 French).
- Direct vs. Relay Pivot: Downstream booths working via pivot relay (e.g., Portuguese working from Spanish rather than the English floor) must be clearly flagged so the sound engineer patches the correct auxiliary bus.
- Assigned Interpreter Team: Seat A, Seat B (and Seat C for multi-day events) alongside confirmed mobile contacts for morning sound checks.

Sound engineers need high-contrast paper prints. AV control booths and lighting desks operate in dim halls. A run sheet designed for print should omit distracting UI chromes, buttons, and low-contrast borders.
