Cabine is scheduling and billing software for conference interpreting agencies. This policy explains what information Cabine handles and why.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Cabine website, calculator and app. Cabine is operated by Dubori. If your agency uses Cabine to store information about clients, events or interpreters, your agency is responsible for deciding why that information is used. Cabine processes it only to provide the service to your agency.
Information we collect
- Account information: agency name, coordinator name, email address, password hash and plan status.
- Operational information: events, clients, booths, assignments, interpreter contact details, rates, invoices, payouts and related notes entered by an agency.
- Service information: security and operational logs needed to keep the service working and investigate errors or abuse.
- Website preferences: the theme preference is stored in your browser. The calculator runs in your browser and does not send its inputs to Cabine.
How we use information
We use information to run the service, authenticate coordinators, send assignment and password-reset emails when enabled, provide invoices and exports, prevent abuse, support customers and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use customer operational data for advertising.
Service providers
Cabine uses Cloudflare to host the website, app and database. When email is enabled, Cabine uses Resend to deliver transactional emails. When payments are enabled, Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes payment information under its own privacy notice. We share only the information needed for each provider to perform its service.
Retention and deletion
Account and operational information is retained while an account is active. Agencies can export their business records as CSV. After cancellation, Cabine keeps read and export access for a reasonable period and then deletes or anonymises information unless it must be retained for legal, accounting or security reasons.
Security
Cabine uses encrypted connections, access controls and tenant isolation designed to prevent one agency from accessing another agency's data. No system is completely risk-free, so agencies should use strong, unique passwords and promptly remove coordinators who no longer need access.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to particular processing. If you are an interpreter or client whose information was entered by an agency, contact that agency first. Account holders can make requests through the support channel in Cabine.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or applicable rules change. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
Effective date: 20 August 2026.
