1. Scope of Confidential Information
1. Definition of Confidential Material:
"Confidential Information" encompasses all written, spoken, digital, or visual materials disclosed to the Interpreter in connection with the assignment, including but not limited to draft speech texts, PowerPoint slide presentations, specialized terminology glossaries, participant lists, audio/video recordings, and verbal statements delivered during closed-door sessions.

2. Duty of Confidentiality:
(a) The Interpreter agrees to hold all Confidential Information in strict confidence and shall not disclose, publish, duplicate, or communicate any portion thereof to any third party without prior written authorization from the Disclosing Party.
(b) The Interpreter shall not use Confidential Information for personal gain, commercial advantage, insider trading, or any purpose other than providing professional interpretation during the designated event.
3. Document Deletion & Briefing Material Destruction
3. Post-Conference Material Handling:
Within 48 hours following the conclusion of the event, the Interpreter shall securely delete all digital copies of confidential slide decks, draft communiques, and briefing recordings from laptops, tablets, and email accounts, and shred any physical paper notes generated inside the booth.
